Danny Green (footballer, born 1988)

Daniel Richard "Danny" Green (born 9 July 1988) is an English footballer who plays as a right midfielder for Luton Town.
==Career==
Green started his career as a youth player for Charlton Athletic before being released at the age of 15. Green then signed for Northampton Town, earning his first professional contract, but moved to Nottingham Forest a year later. In 2008 Green was released by ''Forest'' and signed for Conference South club Bishop's Stortford.〔
He signed for Dagenham & Redbridge in May 2009 on a free transfer. Green made his debut in a League Two match against Crewe Alexandra on 8 August, in their 2–1 away win. He was replaced in the 75th minute as a substitute for Wesley Thomas.〔 He scored 14 goals from midfield, including one at Wembley Stadium to help Dagenham to promotion to League One via the play-offs. On 25 July 2010, he and team-mate Scott Doe committed themselves to Dagenham by signing new three-year contracts. Dagenham were relegated back to League Two the following season, but Green was one of the club's stand-out performers, scoring 11 goals in the league and two in the FA Cup.
On 29 June 2011, Green was signed by his former youth club Charlton Athletic for a fee of £350,000, signing a three-year contract. After gaining promotion to the Championship with the ''Addicks'' in his first season, Green struggled to hold down a first-team position. On 2 September 2013, Green agreed a six-week loan deal with MK Dons. On 22 May 2014, he was released from Charlton Athletic after making 74 first-team appearances for the club.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Charlton announce list of released players )
One day later, Green returned to MK Dons, signing a two-year contract〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Danny Green: MK Dons sign Charlton Athletic midfielder )〕 He made 18 appearances in all competitions during the 2014–15 season, scoring twice, as MK Dons won promotion to the Championship.
On 3 July 2015, MK Dons agreed to cancel Green's contract a year early.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=DANNY GREEN: Former Charlton Athletic midfielder released by MK Dons )〕 A day later he signed a two-year contract with League Two club Luton Town, linking back up with manager John Still who had first signed him from Bishop's Stortford in 2009.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title= Luton sign former MK Dons winger Danny Green )
He scored his first goals for Luton in consecutive games, opening the scoring in a 2–1 victory over Leyton Orient in the Football League Trophy on 1 September 2015, before netting the final goal in a 3–1 away league victory at Cambridge United four days later.
